Yellow Taxi
A faster, more reliable and user-friendly way to get around the city.

A taxi experience designed around real everyday rides.
Yellow Taxi is a mobile app concept that explores how taxi booking can feel faster, clearer and more flexible without making the core experience more complicated.
Beyond choosing a destination and requesting a ride, the experience considers the practical details that often shape a real journey — travelling with a pet, carrying extra luggage, communicating with the driver, tracking their arrival and choosing how to pay.
I designed the product end to end, from the main user flow and screen structure to the visual interface, reusable components and an interactive Figma prototype.
Keeping a simple journey simple even when every ride is different.
Booking a taxi looks like a straightforward task: choose a destination and request a ride. But real journeys often come with additional needs that can quickly add complexity to the experience.
A passenger may be travelling with a pet, carrying more luggage than usual, trying to coordinate an exact pickup point or needing to contact the driver before arrival. Payment preferences and ride information also need to remain clear throughout the journey.
The challenge was to support these different situations without adding unnecessary steps or overwhelming users who simply want to book a ride as quickly as possible.
- Complex booking flow
- Lack of real-time information
- Unclear meeting points
- Inconsistent user experience
A smoother, more transparent experience
End-to-end UX/UI design
I was responsible for the complete design process — from initial UX research and user flows to wireframes, high-fidelity UI, interaction details, an interactive prototype and a scalable design system.
Working solo on the project meant making decisions across every layer — information architecture, visual language, component structure and micro-interactions — while keeping the experience simple, consistent and easy to hand off.

A complete experience built around the entire ride journey.
Yellow Taxi evolved into a complete end-to-end mobile product concept covering the journey from choosing a destination and customizing the ride to tracking the driver, communicating during pickup, completing payment and leaving feedback.
Alongside the final interface, I created a reusable component system and an interactive Figma prototype that connects the main flows and demonstrates how the product behaves across different ride scenarios.
The final result balances a fast and simple core booking experience with enough flexibility to support the situations that make everyday rides different.
- Complete end-to-end user flow
- Interactive Figma prototype
- Scalable design system created
- Consistent UI across 40+ screens
Designing for different situations doesn't have to make the product more complicated.
One of the main things I learned through this project was that simplifying an experience does not always mean removing features or options. The bigger challenge is deciding when those options should appear and how much attention they should receive.
Features such as pet-friendly rides or extra luggage should be easy to find when they are relevant, without adding friction for passengers who do not need them.
Working across the complete flow also helped me think beyond individual screens. Building reusable components, defining states and keeping interaction patterns consistent made it easier to maintain a clear experience as the product grew.
